Ingredients:
350g Dr. Oetker Nice 'n Easy Sweet & Sour Pulled Pork
1 large potato
2 garlic cloves
½ teaspoon salt
30ml vegetable oil
½ teaspoon Sichuan peppercorn spice
2 dried red chili
Method:
Bring a pot of water to boil.
Shred your potato and place into boiling water until the potato is cooked through, but still crisp (about 5 minutes).
Drain your potato and rinse with cold water in order to remove the starch.
Drain the potato once again and place onto a paper towel to dry then add to a bowl.
Mince your garlic and add to the potato and a light dust of salt.
Heat your oil over a medium heat, and add your Sichuan peppercorn, cooking for about 1 minute.
Turn off heat and remove the peppercorn from the oil. Add your dried chili into the oil and stir until the chili turns a dark red colour.
Carefully pour the hot oil over the potato and stir the mixture immediately.
Place your DR. OETKER NICE 'N EASY SWEET & SOUR PULLED PORK into the microwave and heat accordingly.
Serve with the Chinese Potato Salad.
