⁠Chicken Chow Mein Served with Bok Choy In Chilli Ginger Sauce

Bok Choy Ingredients:

⁠320g Dr. Oetker Nice ‘n Easy Chicken Chow Mein
⁠100g Bok Choy
⁠3g fresh ginger
⁠30g Sesame seed Oil
⁠5g Crushed Red Chilli Flakes
⁠30ml Soy Sauce

Method:

  • Heat a pan to medium high heat. Wash your bok choy thoroughly and damp dry with a paper towel. 

  • Peel and finely chop your ginger. 

  • Add your sesame oil to the pan and fry your ginger until a golden brown colour starts to appear. 

  • Add your crushed chilli and fry for a further 60 seconds. 

  • Toss in the bok choy and gently mix while frying to incorporate all the flavours until the bok choy turns a dark green colour (about 60 seconds of frying). Throw in your soy sauce and remove from the heat. 

  • Prepare your Dr. Oetker Nice ‘n Easy Chicken Chow Mein in the microwave and serve with the bok choy in ginger sauce on the side.
