1. Introduction

1.1. This Competition is organised by Dr. Oetker South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).

1.2. By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions, which are available on the Dr. Oetker competitions page at: https://www.oetker.co.za/competitions-promotions

1.3. The competition runs from 28 December 2025 until midnight on 12th February 2026. No late entries will be accepted.

1.4. The competition is open to residents of the Republic of South Africa, Eswatini and Namibia aged 18 years or older, who comply with these Terms & Conditions and who have not won a prize through a competition organized by the Promoter or its affiliates in the last 12 months. Directors, members, partners, agents or employees of Dr. Oetker, any Dr. Oetker holding companies and subsidiaries, their advertising and promotions agencies, consultants, and their immediate families, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Dr. Oetker are not eligible to enter. 

2. Prize Details

2.1. The grand prize is one of twenty cash prizes, valued at R10 000.00 (Ten Thousand Rands) each (“Prize”) weekly. 

3. How to Enter

How to Enter for a Chance to Win the grand Prize:

Step 1: Buy any 2 Dr. Oetker Ital Pizza Snack products (Donuts, Mini’s, Slices, Sticks or Pizzini’s) (“Participating Products”) during the competition period. The eligible products are:

Step 2: Scan the QR codes on pack and follow the WhatsApp prompts.

Step 3: Send a picture of your till slip when prompted.

Winners will be selected via random weekly draws from valid entries received each week.

Important Notes:

• Standard data rates apply for WhatsApp entries.

• Each till slip can only be used once.

• You can enter multiple times with separate qualifying purchases.

• Participants must enter the Competition on a mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop that is owned and registered by that person. No person can use another person’s mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop for Competition entry purposes. This rule has been implemented to avoid fraud and possible litigation between the mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop owner and the Participant.

• Should the Promoter suspect any fraudulent activity the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the Participants from the Competition. Fraudulent activity includes fake receipts, tampered QR codes, using automated systems to enter the Competition, and supplying any false information.

4. Winner Selection & Notification

4.1. Each week, for 5 weeks, 4 winners will be selected to receive the cash prize via a random audited draw and will be contacted via the number used to enter.

4.2 .The weekly winner will be asked to provide an address, valid proof of bank account with bank stamp at which to accept electronic transfer of the Prize.

4.3. To claim the grand Prize, the winner must provide, within three business days of notification:

• Proof of identification

• Proof of purchase of the Participating Product or till slip used to enter into the competition

• A valid South African, Namibian, or Eswatini passport with at least 6 months remaining

• Valid proof of bank account with bank letterhead.

4.4. The winner must accept the Prize within one week from the date of notification.

4.5. If a winner fails to meet the requirements or cannot be reached after three attempts, the Promoter reserve the right to replace them with an alternative Participant. 

5. General Terms

5.1. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.2. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.

5.3. The Promoter is not responsible for entries lost due to technical failures or network issues.

6. Data Protection & Privacy

6.1. The Promoter collects and processes personal information solely for competition administration.

6.2. By entering this Competition, all entrants authorise Dr Oetker, the Promoter, to collect, store and use (not share) the personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes.

6.3. The Promoter will not share participant data with third parties, except where necessary to fulfil the prize or required by law. By accessing any Prizes, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by participating in this Competition you consent to us sharing your data with our reward partners and affiliates for purposes relating to the operation of the Competition, including (without limitation) fulfilling of rewards issued to Participants. “Affiliates” means, any entity controlling, controlled by or under common control with the Promoter and suppliers for purposes of this Competition. 

6.4. All personal information will be kept in a secure password-protected file for 3 years and will be destroyed after this time period has lapsed.

6.5. In line with POPIA, participants have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting contact@oetker.co.za.

7. Marketing Communications

7.1. The winner or Participants may be requested to take part in publicity for broadcast, social media or publishing purposes, which is conditional upon their agreement to take part in such publicity. Winners or Participants who take part in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the Promoter.

7.2. If a Participant opts in for marketing, they agree to receive promotional communications from Dr. Oetker, including information about Dr. Oetker’s products, services and future promotions.

7.3. Participants can unsubscribe at any time by replying "STOP" to messages or using the "Unsubscribe" link where applicable.

8. Disclaimer

8.1. No compensation, replacement, or alternative entry method will be provided. Entries will only be accepted if a valid unique till slip is submitted.

8.3. By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Discovery and its related companies, and its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Competition or receipt or use of any prize.

8.4. This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. By entering, participants release these platforms from any responsibility related to the competition.
